CLOSE-UP PHOTOS OF THE
CARTOUCHES

The following are close-up views of the various cartouches and acceptance marks.  I have tried to properly identify what the origins of the marks, but there are still some that I have yet to identify.   If I have mis-identified any, or if you have info on an unknown, please email.

Points of interest on the above photos.  The following marks are from the Lisbon Arsenal.  "P" is Proofed, "A" is approved, the small crown is a proof mark representing the Kings cipher, and the main "Crown over L I" is the official King D Luis I royal cipher.   The "backwards B attached to the standard B" or "four pedal flower" is I think a Steyr Arsenal proof, though I am not sure.  The others, I have no idea, but I am still researching.
